独立事件和条件概率并不矛盾呀。条件概率P(X|Y)=P(XY)/P(Y)=0.5/0.75=2/3中,P(XY)=0.5和P(Y)=0.75就是根据独立事件得来的。
For me, since we already know there is a boy(not only one boy, this is not a word game I believe), so just forget this boy, and for the other child we get 0.5 probabilty to have a girl.
It's quite intuitive. Just like one couple have a boy and the wife is pregnent again, with one child in her body,

. The probability that that one is a girl is 0.5. You can't say that your first child is a boy, so the second one is more likely to be a girl.
So, why the conditional probabilty thing is wrong?
I think you may took Y as there is at least one boy, in that case P(Y) should be one, since it is already been told. 0.5/1=0.5, voila.
Otherwise, I really don't know how you get the number 0.75
