在校学生申请助学计划啊,不然太贵了。就此问题我咨询了Paul Wilmott,见Paul的答复:
Ah, yes, the money! Here are some thoughts on this:
1. When we started the CQF outside China everyone said it was too expensive! But after the first people had taken it, got good jobs or improved their skills, then suddenly everyone wants to do it! Now (only 4 years later) it's the largest high-level quant qualification in the world and the price has doubled!
2. Very few students take the qualification. 90% are people in a bank/hedge fund or some other mathematical or scientific field who want to move into finance. Their company almost always pays, not the individual. We do have a few students/new graduates but only the very, very ambitious ones.
3. The cost of training for the CFA can also be around 50k RMB. But a) CFA takes too long and b) the CFA is much, much, much lower level. For any Chinese who has ever studied calculus (and who wants a western job!) they would be absolutely crazy to do CFA! It means no more than a cycling certificate to a quant!
仁者见仁,智者见智,个人觉得还是太贵了。
